The opportunity to travel to Guatemala in June to spend time volunteering at an orphanage is something I have longed to do! Volunteering is something incredibly important to me and giving my time to children holds a special place in my heart. I'm beyond excited to go on this journey and look forward to the experiences to come!

I'll be spending a week in an all girls orphanage and staying with a host family in Guatemala. I'm truly blessed to have the opportunity to spend time with these girls and give them my time, love and hopefully lots of lasting smiles and memories~

We are working with the RCDP International Volunteer Program to coordinate this.
The orphanage is located in Queltzaltenango with approximately 50 girls ages ranging between 7-18. Some of these girls have babies of their own who are also in great need of basic essentials.

The girls are in need of toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap, shampoo, vitamins and basic first aid items. The hope is to raise money to bring with us to Guatemala to provide these basic essentials for the girls.

Every little bit helps! We know the time spent with the girls will be incredible and we want to leave behind items that many of us take for granted but will make a HUGE difference in their lives.
